The JV-1010 is a half-width rackmount synth in the later Roland style with a black, brushed aluminium front panel, prominent blue & white lettering, rotary encoder for patch editing, rotary part and category / bank switches plus a headphone socket with volume control. Some of Roland’s vocal patches are a bit on the cheesy side, but there are some pretty good ones in there too, and when it comes to warm pads, bright bells, silky strings, sexy saxes, dance stabs or ‘big’ synth sounds, the JV1010 is up there with the best of them” “It might not be much to look at, but the JV1010 is a sonic gold mine. It’s a 1/2U module with all the sounds from the JV-2080 plus the sounds from the Session expansion module. The JV-1010 is a successor to the legendary JV-1080, the synth used on more recordings than any other. Tested & working 100%.
